How do values influence society?

Values are instrumental in how your life turns out. That is because they affect every decision you make with work, relationships and even what you choose to do daily. If you do not pay attention, you can end up way off track from what you really wanted in life. I ride the local bus and see people from all walks of life. You begin to wonder what brought them to this point. Mothers with crying children, older men who look exhausted from a day's work, people who quietly read and so on. Most of us don't think about it, but not attending to a relationship, being careless about attendance at school or work, taking the easy way out, committing a crime as a young adult or other events can surely have an effect. Good and bad, these small things build our lives.
