How does Scattergories work and what are the rules for playing the game?

Scattergories is a game where players have to think of Words that fit specific categories starting with a chosen letter. Players roll a die to determine the letter and then have a limited time to come up with unique answers. Points are awarded for original answers that match the category and letter. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
