Political things that led to French Revolution?

Louis XIV the grand monarch, had left a legacy of financial bankruptcy and national ruin to his successors.Louis XV was lazy and pleasure loving king who fell under the influence of mistress.Louis XVI was good at heart but utterly useless.He was misled by his queen Marie Antoinette the Austrian princess who was absolute monarchy in France. If the divine right claims of Louis XIV were applauded by the people,the same was viewed with contempt during the time of the later rulers.Another political cause was the neglects of the states general,the parliament of France.It did not meet even once during the 175 years after 1614.
