Who seceded at the attack at Ft Sumter 1861?

After the attack, Lincoln called for volunteer-troops, which was taken as a declaration of war.

In response, four states of the Upper South, which had been undecided, threw in their lot wth the Confederates. They were Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas.
