Standard Rex rabbits are usually around 10 pounds fully grown and have ears that stick straight up (instead of down). You can't really tell a Rex by their fur pattern, since there are 16 different varieties. The confirming characteristic, however, is their unique, dense, plush, velvet-like fur that is only found in Standard Rex and Mini Rex rabbits.
