Who is the present CAG?

As of October 2023, the current Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India is Girish Chandra Murmu. He took office on August 8, 2020, and is responsible for auditing government expenditures and ensuring accountability in public finances. Murmu previously served as the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir before his appointment as CAG.
