How does the griffin adapt to its environment?

Not quite sure which organism you are referring to. The griffin is a mythical animal which was supposed to have the body, tail, and back legs of a lion, the head and wings of an eagle; and eagle's talons as its front feet.

Since no real griffin exists there is no griffin environment to discuss adaptations to.
