What Cell detects infection?

The primary cells that detect infection are called dendritic cells, which are a type of antigen-presenting cell. They recognize pathogens through pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) and initiate an immune response by activating T cells. Other immune cells, such as macrophages and neutrophils, also play key roles in detecting and responding to infections.
