Who was Deucalion?

Deucalion is a figure from Greek mythology, often regarded as the Greek equivalent of Noah. He was the son of Prometheus and was known for surviving a great flood sent by Zeus to cleanse the earth of its wickedness. Along with his wife, Pyrrha, Deucalion repopulated the world by following the advice of the oracle and throwing stones over their shoulders, which transformed into humans.
