Wrist shots are less powerful but more accurate, but still take a bit of time. Snap shots are quick and accurate, but not quite as powerful. Backhands have almost no advantage and are used out of necessity. I would say the snap shot is the "best shot" because it will allow you to catch the goalie off guard, shoot when being covered, and shoot the puck where you want it to go.
