What age is too young to date?

The age depends on the child. Typically the age of 13 is the socially acceptable time to begin dating, whereas the age of 16 is the more acceptable time to be in a committed relationship. The two are very different, as young dating is the interaction of two people with feelings for each other remaining in an innocent way.

Unfortunately I do know one child who has (proudly) lost her virginity at the meagre age of 13, but that's a rare case. Typically, no funny business happens until the high school years. So parents, it's really up to you when to set your child's dating limit. I would advise to keep a watchful eye out in any circumstances.
