What is The Twilight Saga about?

The Twilight Saga is about a young human, Isabella "Bella" Marie Swan falling in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen, from her new school in Forks, Washington, U.S.A. In the first book, Twilight, Bella moves away from her mother in Phoenix, Arizona, to live with her dad in Forks. There, she attends Forks High, where she meets Edward Cullen, one of the adopted children of Carlisle Cullen (Stregone Benefice), a local doctor that Bella's dad, Charlie Swan, knows pretty well. In Twilight, a nomadic vampire, James, has set his sites on Bella and tries to kill her. Throughout the whole series, Edward tries to resist being with Bella, while protecting her from the ever dangerous James .

Also, throughout the books, Jacob "Jake" Black, really wants to be with Bella. In Eclipse, when he finds out that Edward and Bella are going to get married, he threatens to go into the battle in the clearing against the newborns. Bella kisses him, trying to persuade him to stay with her and not endanger himself. Even Billy Black, wants Bella to break up with Edward. So, after Twilight, when Billy Back wanted Jacob to persuade Bella into breaking up with Edward, Jacob begins.

But, in the end of Eclipse, Edward does the thing we've all been waiting for. He proposes to her! She hesitates, and then says "yes". When Edward talks about it to Bella while they are in the tent, Jacob listens and hears what she says. That is when Jacob threatened to join the battle. Bella then kisses him, but her attempt to keep Jacob safe fails, and he ends up basically crushing his whole right side.

In the last book, Breaking Dawn, Edward and Bella get married. There are 3 parts, or books, to the last book. In Breaking Dawn, Edward and Bella have their little baby, Renesmee Carlie Cullen. A close family member had leaked information to the Volturi about Renesmee, believing she was an Immortal Child. They decide to come and destroy the Cullens. All of the Cullens go out, looking for help, looking for ways to save the Cullens and, at the very least, keep Renesmee alive.
