How would you have reacted if you had been living in florence in 1348?

I would have likely been terrified and overwhelmed by the devastation of the Black Death. I would have followed the guidelines set by the authorities to try and protect myself, such as avoiding contact with the sick and staying indoors. And I would have sought comfort and support from my community in such a difficult and uncertain time.
