How many years does it take to be a red belt in ju jitsu?

This all depends on how fast a learner you are. The red belt is one belt up from the white so it shouldn't take years. It took me 5 weeks from joining my club to become a red belt whilst it took others 3 months, it all depends on how fast you pick things up
