How do you get a stock stereo out of a Nissan Altima 1999?

First you have to pop off the trim piece around the base of the gear shifter.

Second, you unscrew the 2 screws at the base of the trim piece around the stereo, the 2 screws near the top of the trim piece and the screw behind the ash tray.

Third, pop off the trim piece by prying it was from the dash board.

Fourth, disconnect the lighter/12v power source

Fifth, unscrew the mounting brackets

Sixth, unplug the wiring harness and antenna.
