How do you make a good bbq sauce?

This is a simple recipe for barbecue sauce. Easy to make and great taste!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups beef broth

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 small onion, minced

2 tablespoons bacon drippings (butter will work)

Salt and pepper

Directions:

• In a medium size pot, combine beef stock, ketchup, onion, bacon drippings, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon pepper.
• Bring mixture to a boil.
• Reduce the heat to medium low.
• Simmer until the onion is tender, about 10 minutes.
• Remove from the heat.
• Let set for one hour for flavor to develop.
• Reheat once before using.
