If you haven't already gotten it, there is a patch that makes the boss a little easier. All you have to do is get onto xbox-live and it should automatically say free patch availible. Otherwise there is a straightforward approach. Use your dash attack to get as close to him as possible in-between his attacks. You can do this by double-tapping on the analoge control stick (xbox/ps3). You can also use focus to good effect as it takes off damage quicker. Make sure to keep your distance when he is firing to give yourself time to Dodge. You should also look for the teddy bears which will give you additional health to help along the way.
