Cruise ship stabilizers

Cruise ships have two types of stabilizers, both of which are found on most modern day liners. The wing-type is an underwater wing that automatically pitches up and down to keep the ship stable. The gyroscopic-type is a whirling weight inside the ship that keeps the ship upright.
