How far is Clearwater from the ocean?

2800 Gulf-to-Bay blvd. The ocean is on the east coast. Tampa Bay is east of Hooters and less then a mile away(its nasty has a sewage plant and beaches are always being closed there). Clearwater beach is about 7-9 miles west. Its best to go west on gulf-to-bay to achieve your goal of nice beaches, that is if the mayor has not ruined them them by then! good luck
