How to clean pet feces from carpet?

If the feces are relatively dry and solid, you can probably pick them up with toilet tissue or a plastic back. Lightly scrub the area with a wet rag and spray it with Febreze.

If your pet has had massive diarrhea on the carpet, throw cat litter or baking soda on it to minimize it soaking into the carpet. Vacuum as much off as you can. Then scrub the area with diluted ammonia. Blot the area dry several times and rescrub, so the wet ammonia doesn't run under the carpet. Finally, spray the area with Febreze.
