What does DCP stand for?

Digital Comics Preservation. This group scans graphic novels (comic books) for preservation issues. There are a large number of hard-to-find, rare and expensive comic books, due to their age and the number printed, that would make it difficult for a fan to get their hands on them. These "scans" are then made readily available for public consumption. This does have a potential drawback of allowing people to read someone's intellectual property without paying for it, but this probably also increases readership for that book. Many of the scans are available at torrent sites using dcp as the search option.
