What are the disadvantages of tmt bars?

In general , TMT bars are manufactured using scraps and other recycled metal , but those scraps are not refined to have almost pure Iron, many other metals as impurities are still present in the scrap. Finally , all the scrap is super-heated to form a melt and hence casted into bars. These bars may not have residual stresses, but they can't be as reliable as TOR steel.
