Regulation of business (increasing the costs involved in producing a good or service, so a business must charge more for it).

Government services-- many services the government provides would be handled by private industry and private companies if the government was not doing it themselves. If the government supplies a family with a free apartment in a housing project, they are taking that family out of the market of possible consumers in the housing industry.
