What is penicillin and what is used for?

Penicillin is a bactericidal antibiotic drug.
Bactericidal Antibiotics are chemical substances which are produced by microorganisms like bacteria, mould, fungi, and kill other microorganisms. Penicillin can be used for curing sore throat, bronchitis, pneumonia and rheumatic fever.
