How do you remove the front disk brake rotor off of a 1999 grand vitara so that the rotor can be turned before putting on brake pads?

you remove the brake caliper and the caliper bridge use two 8mm by 125pitch bolts and screw them into the holes until rotor comes free It also works on a 2000 Thanks!
