What is the range of a 223 rifle?

Depends on if it is a bolt action or something like an AR-15. Bolt action is good up to I would say 300 yards. AR would be less because of the semi-auto feature. Other factors include wind, what kind of scope, and the type of bullet you are using (like the grain size of the bullet, etc.)
