Both schools are wonderful and offer some of the lowest prices around. The Bible college offers free and low-cost accredited courses. And the universities courses are fairly priced.
There program is geared towards training for ministry so they do not offer secular courses therefore they also do not have secular accreditation approved by the DOE. As christian
schools do not have to be approved by the DOE.

This means that a bible degree from them will not transfer at a secular school at all or with christian schools with secular accreditation. However even if you take biblical courses from a DOE approved bible college and pay allot more money they also will not transfer well at a secular school. Also a biblical degree even a doctorate will not allow you to say teach at a public school or hold a job requiring an AA degree as biblical degree is just not the same as a liberal Arts degree which is what most secular schools or jobs require. So in my thinking unless you are being considered for a ministry job for some national ministry requiring a DOE approved bible degree why pay the high prices. The folks at Ames were missionaries and are not about the money they are about training people for the Kingdom of God.
