Was David married when he slept with Bathsheba?

Yes.

David already had a few wives. In 1 Samual 25:40-43 records that David was married to the widow Abigail, Ahinoam, and Saul's daughter Michal.

This was all while Saul was still alive. He committed adultery with Bathsheba long after Saul was dead.
