Where are Hone Heke's bones?

The remains of Hone heke are hidden in a secret cave between kawakawa and Kaikohe in the Northland region of Aotearoa New Zealand. At time of writing (Apr 2011) there is discussion about moving his remains due to a housing development being built near his current location.
