Why manglore relieves more rainfall than banglore as both lie on same altitude?

Mangalore receives more rainfall than Bangalore despite being at a similar altitude because of its proximity to the Arabian Sea. The moisture-laden winds from the sea bring more rainfall to Mangalore compared to Bangalore, which is further inland. Additionally, regional topography and local weather patterns also play a role in the variation of rainfall between the two cities.
