Is star investing a good company?

I worked for a Financial Planning company last year that was an affiliate of Star investing however left after 2 months after realising what kind of company Star was. It basically sells property off the plan for inflated prices and charges you for the priviledge. The salespeople are slick with a whole speil about financial independence and scaring people with facts about not having enough money in retirement. They are NOT financial advisers and are just property sales people and therefore fall outside the scope of ASIC. If they were Financial Planners there would be no way that they could get away with what they do and say. The sales person pockets the 'membership' fee and star investing make tens of thousands on the property sale. Avoid at all costs. If something goes wrong they just avoid your calls. It is all about making as much $$$ as they can and exploiting peoples ignorance of genuine property prices. They also change there name every couple of years when the bad press gets to much for them (they were Solutions investing, 360 investing etc etc).
