Where did crazy frog come from?

Crazy Frog, a computer-animated character, was created in 2003 by Swedish actor Erik Wernquist. The soundtrack was created prior to the animation in 1997 by a student, Daniel Malmedahl, attempting to impersonate the sound of a car engine.
