How much money does it cost to go up into outer space?

The exact answer is probably uncertain to mostly everyone on this site, so I will just give an attempt made in 2001. In 2001 Dennis Tito went to space for approximately 20 million U.S dollars. We could possibly call him the first space tourist! However, that was 12 years ago, and the cost is probably much more, maybe even 50 million dollars depending on where you are traveling.
