Why does a guy want to talk to you?

Why does a guy wanna talk to you; it might mean that he likes you, or he might just be seeing if you will fall for him. Because sometimes they like to make you happy and then make you miserable. Trust me, that's happened to me before and I was so so so so mad that I said, " I feel so sorry for your parents to have a son this stupid and hideous.", and he didn't ever bother me again.
