Old Dominion University (ODU) played in its first bowl game in the 2016 season, participating in the Bahamas Bowl on December 24, 2016. They faced Eastern Michigan in that game. Since then, ODU has made additional bowl appearances, including the 2021 Myrtle Beach Bowl.
