What is the biblical prohibition against suicide?

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Thou shalt not kill (ten commandments)

god has plans for everyone, all you have to do is accept them. It would be going against gods plan for you by committing such an act.

thou shalt not kill, that includes killing yourself, if you are already dead there can obviously be no repentance.

there are also verses saying your body is a temple of god and you need to treat it as such.
