What are the two rules of forming possessive noun?

Possessive nouns are formed by:

1. adding an apostrophe -s ('s) to the end of the Word, or

2. adding an apostrophe (') to plural nouns that already end with -s.

Examples:

child; child's; children's

adult; adult's; adults'
