Where do rabbits die?

The length of time a rabbit lives depends on many factors.

At the top of the list is whether it is a wild or a domesticated rabbit. Rabbits in the wild may only live for two years due to predation by other animals. Domesticated rabbits that are well cared for may live up to 10 years, or even longer. Some have been known to live to 18 years. However, if the rabbit is fed the wrong type of food, or not kept in clean conditions, it is unlikely to live this long.

Another factor is the species of rabbit. Dwarf breeds are more likely to live longer than the large breeds.
