Why can you use one light or appliance at a time in a parallel cicuit even if a load fails?

In a parallel circuit, each light or appliance is connected independently to the power source, so if one load fails, the others can still function as normal because they have their own separate paths to the power source. This allows the other lights or appliances to continue working independently without being affected by the failed load.
