Do you have to file tax return if you are 83 and retired?

Same answer as for the 18 year old asking a moment ago...age isn't a determining factor in who must file a tax reutrn. Basically, your income is. Many, many retiree's have large taxable incomes, and presumably will even if they live to 150!
