Observation:Upon being released from prison, the recently released normally go through a transitional period. Often they are placed on parole or in half-way houses, ostensibly to help with the adjustment to freedom. Generally, they are required to obtain employment and account for their whereabouts. The idea is to build new habits that will allow the person to avoid returning to a life of crime.The reality of it is that the majority of the vocal public fueled by the politically avaricious believe that those released from prison will all reoffend. It is expected to the degree that finding residence, locating and securing employment, and other necessities of life are made so difficult for ex-offenders, that reoffending can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
