Why did you choose aviation?

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but I know why I chose aviation. It started the fiirst time I flew an airplane. I'd won this silent auction for an aerial tour around my town in a Cessna 182 rg. A small four seater airplane with retractable landing gear. I sat in the copilot seat. About twenty minutes into the flight, the pilot asked me to grab hold of the controls. When I did, he sat back, let go of his control yoke, and said "congratulations, you're flying." Everything seemed so easy, zipping the airplane back and forth, climbing, diving. For the first time, I felt that I was truly free. It was incredible. Since then, I've been hooked on flying
