How do you do an informative speech on self defense?

In order to give an informative speech on any topic, you must have information. I don't know how well informed you may be on the subject of self defense, but even if you are not well informed, there is information available on the internet (google is always useful) and you may also want to find someone who knows more than you do, and interview him or her. When you are suitably informed, then it is just a matter of writing up a clear speech which conveys the information that you have, which you can then deliver. Here are some points which I think should be included:
