How do I get around parental control software on a computer?

Depending on the machine and (mostly) the operating system, there is a way to uninstall programs, or to "bypass" or "disable" them. Though programs like this are written to resist efforts to defeat them, and for obvious reasons. More than that we cannot say here because of site policy.
