Is a Ak-47 a machine gun or Shotgun?

It's the shotgun. All though machine guns can shoot multiple times and Ak-47 guns are mostly used, the shotgun tends to have a more powerful, faster, stronger, and longer shots than the others. Plus, shotguns can hold and shoot almost any bullet.
