Hello using a JPEG does anyone know how it can be hidden then slowly revealed using a spiralling effect over say 30 secs - similar to gameshows thank you?

You need a program to import the JPEG, create the effect, and save it as a GIF, such as GIF Animator, among others. These programs can import just about any picture(s) and animate them for saving as a GIF file.
