What does it mean to talk to dead in dreams?

There is no single meaning that applies to all dreams of talking with dead people. Superstitions about such dreams foretelling the dreamer's own death or the death of someone the dreamer knows - or even that there will be a birth - are just that: superstitions without any basis in fact. However, death IS universal, so the odds are 100% that someone the dreamer knows will die (or become pregnant) within a few days, weeks, months or years after the dream occurs. Such events are not caused by the dream or predicted by the dream in any way.
