What does mean when you dream that you are eating a baby?

Dreams speak through metaphors - often through very exaggerated and dramatic metaphors. In dreams, a baby can represent an idea or project that one has worked a long time to develop, just as a baby takes a long time and a lot of effort to develop and bring to birth. If one developed a project and sold it, or "consumed" that project in some other way, one might well dream of "eating a baby." For example, if one worked hard at building a house, then sold that house and lived on the proceeds, that would explain such a dream.
