Is gun control a good thing?

I think there should be gun control because with out gun control people would be like using guns against each other, not cool. If i thought there shouldn't, than we would all be able to practice shooting and hunting, i have one point of veiw for each side :)

If there were gun control, then gun crime would go up, due to all the criminals getting their gun illegally.
