What was the stone rebellion?

Stone Rebellion in 1739 was first slave rebellion in South Carolina. Groups of slaves decided to flee to Florida because they could be freed, but they forgot about that they had to go through Georgia, which was another slave country back then. At the end, the slaves got caught, and they were all hanged. Hope it's helpful !!!
